Who and what is YMN?

  • Leadership: Amy Schroeder, Jimmy Dunn, Maria Amundsen – will need more people next year as Amy and Jimmy are leaving
  • Committees: Hospitality, Advocacy, Professional Development – all of these are looking for more people to help
  • Boards and Other Organzations: Medical Benefits, Coalition of Ministry Associations (COMA), Youth Ministry Advisory Board
  • Everyone should have received a YMN Membership Brochure
  • Fee: $50 – includes lunch and professional development
  • Lunch today is free, after that free for members, $5 for non-m’s

    • Hosted by Lifeteen but not only for Lifeteen parishes
    • Youth Min is free with 5 members
    • $59 currently, $69 when 10 days or less registration

    • Youth Minister’s Symposium: Tues, October 2, 2007 - using the book – Uncovering Our Gifts – free book with 1st 50 registrations. There is an online survey that is required for the discussion – info found in the book.
    • Have Faith Sustaining the Spirit – for Confirmation and Beyond; by Mike Corrotta – looking for pilot parishes.
    • Senior High Rally is Saturday, April 12
    • Please park in the Cathedral Lot or History Center parking lot – this fee is no longer covered by the Archdiocese
    • Archdiocesan restructuring: many are still continuing to leave the staff. Job descriptions have been re-written.
